We Thrilled!

Well, just about everything that could go wrong, did - especially with our wifi connection - but we had backup and our very small group of four danced along with the rest of the world at noon yesterday! What a blast!
Mill Valley Park and Rec has offered guidance and support for next year, so stay tuned for a public Thrill the World event in 2013! Does anyone know what the numbers were worldwide?

what is thrill the world?

What is Thrill the World? It's simultaneous worldwide dance of Michael Jackson's Thriller for world records and various non-profit organizations! In the past several years, THRILL THE WORLD events have taken place all over the world - bringing people together and raising funds for arts programs and other non-profit causes. Some participants are dedicated Michael Jackson fans, some just love to dress up like a zombie : raise FUNds and awareness by Raising the dead! ! See you tomorrow, October 27th!

Strut Your Zombie Stuff Tonight at George's in San Rafael !

Just want to give you a heads up about a fun show tonight - my friends the 85's are playing at George's! There's a costume costume contest with prizes - ask the sound guy to play "Thriller" so you can practice your moves!? I'm doing my best to make it, but my other half scheduled me for something else ARGGHHH!
Maybe round up a few more zombies??

Learn the Dance Before Saturday...

The only workshop I know of is happening in Oakland, tomorrow night, and it is followed by a makeup session. If you want to carpool with me from MV, call me at 415-779-4941. Otherwise, you have the videos! (LINK)
So far, we only have a few zombies signed up for Mill Valley, but the Arts Commission and Park and Rec departments have expressed interest to help us next year! Do you know any more Zombies who joined up in Sausalito in 2009, or in 2010, who would like to join us in Mill Valley this Saturday, October 27th?
If so, tell them to register!

We Are Official!

Well, better late than never - we finally got a chance to register our event with the Thrill the World Global team - Thrill the World Mill Valley is  TTW 2012 event # 60155!
We are listed as a "private" event - which really means "Invite only" -
Why?
It's simple - we don't have enough volunteers to handle the amount of zombies who would show up if we made it "public" ( who knows? maybe next year we can do a public event!)
That said, it's still a really fun way to learn the Thriller dance!
